Overview
The arrival of the second-generation Panamera in 2017 saw a substantial re-shuffling of the model range, the most obvious evidence of which was the dropping of a diesel-engined option. Finally, the V8 engine is another used widely across the VW Group, but here it gives up 452bhp and up to 457lb/ft of torque from as low down as 1,800rpm. And for such a big car, “the Porsche manages its weight exceptionally well with great body control, and that endows it with an intent rarely seen in a car of this sort”, reported EVO magazine.
